You are a Creator. To engage the Law of Attraction to create what you want requires that you raise your vibration. But what does that really mean? About your foot pain, what popped in my head as I read that it went away shortly after you got used to it was that maybe there was a belief hiding somewhere that you couldn't be on your feet all day. But, when presented with an opportunity to do something you love, you pushed through the fear (i.e. the pain) and saw that you could do it, even if it hurt a little bit. So you kept doing it, and each time you did, the belief that you couldn't do it reduced in intensity, and then poof, you overcame a limiting belief you didn't even know you had, and the pain went away. I realize I don't know you or your story, so maybe that's way off base, but at the very least it's an example of how something like that could happen. Beliefs are funny, and somewhat confusing, because sometimes we know they're there and sometimes we don't. That's why manifestation events (anything that occurs which inspires any sort of emotion) happen -- to highlight our beliefs. If something happens that feels good, it's an indicator of a beneficial belief (I am loved, I am supported, I am worthy, etc). If something happens that feels bad, it's an indicator of a limiting belief (I am unloved, I am unsupported, I am unworthy, etc.) So now I try to use everything "bad" that comes up for me as an opportunity to find those limiting beliefs (my big one right now is "it's not okay to be who I am") and then work to prove them false. I hope this is making some sort of sense. If not, feel free to keep asking until it does. Sometimes I ask the same question six different times before I understand the answer. Whatever the reason for your foot pain going away, even if you never know figure out exactly it was about, I say props to you...you're clearly doing something right and you deserve credit for that. The way I see it, the higher perspective is whatever story I can find about a situation that helps me feel better. For example, if someone is rude to me at work, I assume they're having a bad day and that's why they're lashing out. I choose to believe that's it's in no way a reflection of me or who I am or the work I'm doing, it's simply them and where they're at in that moment. When I choose that perspective, it's a lot easier to accept them for who they are, for where they're at in that moment. It's gotten easier to accept myself and who I am, because I don't take that stuff personally. The converse of that scenario is also true...the other day I got snippy with a customer service lady, and in the moment I caught myself, realized that it didn't have anything to do with her, that I was just lashing out because I was having a shitty day, and so I told her that and apologized. So I guess for me, the higher perspective comes as a result of stopping in that moment between stimulus and response, analyzing why I'm feeling what I'm feeling, and then choosing a better-feeling thought.

Lol I accidentally hit send too. I love the idea of personal responsibility, especially when I'm in situations I perceive as negative. For me it's like "Okay...I know I wrote this story, and I can write a new one that I like way more than this one." And the beautiful thing is it's so simple to do! All I have to do is play with my beliefs. When they shift, my perspective shifts, and then my entire reality shifts to reflect the change. It's magical! Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts with us, Martina. You're asking important questions and I loved getting the opportunity to reflect on them. With love, Kyla

We create our reality and everything in it. That means all of it, things we perceive as good and things we perceive as bad, serves a purpose for us. All pain, whether emotional or physical, is simply designed to be an alert system. All it does is show us that our perspective is out of alignment with that of our Inner Self. Once we find a new perspective that is in alignment with our Inner Self and its default stance of love without fear, then the pain no longer serves us and is able to disappear. I have had chronic back pain most of my life. As I move closer to love, I can feel it leave slowly, but it's still present a lot of the time. I don't judge it as wrong anymore, I accept that it's there, and I accept that when it no longer serves me it will leave. It, like everything else, is just something that "is". Maybe someday I'll unlock a door to a new perspective and it will go away. Or maybe it won't. The fun of exploration and sifting and sorting and shifting perspectives is what it's all about for me.
